Role Overview

We are looking for a highly capable UX Designer with deep expertise in user research, usability inspection and usability testing methodologies. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving environments, embraces Lean UX principles and actively contributes to design-driven product development through cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead efforts to understand real user needs, validate design assumptions and design intuitive experiences that solve complex problems while balancing speed and quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research

• Create personas, user stories, user flows and hi-fi interactive wireframing

• Translate research findings into actionable insights for design and product teams

• Perform expert reviews by focusing on user, technology and business level goals

• Identify usability issues early and communicate findings effectively with stakeholders.

• Continuously evaluate existing interfaces and workflows for friction points

• Plan and execute usability inspection and testing sessions

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Business and Design peers

• Translate complex research data into clear, visual, and actionable deliverables

• Influence product strategy with evidence-based recommendations

• Tightly collaborate with engineering to ensure design intent during implementation

• Advocate design and user experience across the team

Skills & Tools

• Planning, execution, analysis of interviews, inquires, observational studies

• Usability Inspection: Heuristic Evaluation, Cognitive Walkthroughs, Pluralistic Walkthroughs

• Usability Testing: Think a loud protocol, Remote Usability Testing

• Strong Understanding of Lean UX principles

• Comfortable with rapid iteration, MVP thinking, hypothesis-driven design

• Experience adapting UX processes to match fast-paced product cycles

• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear research plans

• Balances user needs, business objectives and technical constraints

• Effectively presents research findings and design rationale

• Able to influence cross-functional teams

• Strong storytelling skills through visual and verbal media

• Experience working with Design Systems

• UX Design & Prototyping: Figma, Figjam

• Analytics: Google Analytics, Hotjar

• Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, MS Office Suite

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional UX design experience

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Is curious and naturally empathetic toward users

• Thrives under ambiguity and tight timelines

• Enjoys cross-disciplinary collaboration

• Portfolio showcasing user research, usability inspection, testing, prototyping and lean UX design principles

• Experience working in startups or high growth tech
