Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Manager to support financial operations, reporting, and compliance, particularly focusing on US accounting practices and taxation requirements. The role involves managing financial planning and analysis, assisting with audit processes, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting ERP and financial system improvements.

This position requires a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting standards, and experience working with financial reporting, treasury, and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Support financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Develop financial models and reports to support management decision-making.

• Analyze financial performance and provide insights on cost optimization and revenue trends.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial close in accordance with reporting deadlines.

• Maintain financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analysis for internal stakeholders.

US Accounting & Tax Compliance

• Support compliance with US accounting principles and taxation requirements.

• Assist in preparation and review of tax documentation and filings.

• Coordinate with external advisors and consultants on tax-related matters.

Audit Management

• Assist in preparation for external and internal audits, ensuring documentation and reconciliations are accurate and readily available.

• Work with auditors to provide necessary financial data, reports, and supporting documents.

• Ensure audit recommendations are tracked and implemented.

ERP & Systems

• Contribute to ERP implementation and optimization initiatives.

• Assist in improving financial processes through automation and system improvements.

• Ensure financial data integrity across systems.

Treasury Management

• Support treasury activities including cash flow monitoring and financial planning.

• Assist in managing banking relationships, transactions, and financial controls.

Policies, Compliance & Documentation

• Assist in drafting and maintaining finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Ensure financial documentation meets internal compliance standards.

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

Key Deliverables

• Strong understanding of the organization’s financial structure and systems.

• Consistent adherence to month-end close timelines and reporting schedules.

• Preparedness for external audits with organized documentation and reconciliations.

• Maintenance of documentation and compliance standards across finance processes.

• Development and execution of a 6-month improvement and operational plan for finance operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA / ACCA / CPA partly qualified or qualified preferred).

• 3–5 years of experience in US accounting and taxation.

• 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

• 5+ years of experience in taxation and audit processes.

• Hands-on experience in ERP implementation or financial systems management.

• Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
